ABOUT

It all begins with an idea.

Our semi-professional women's team competes in the Women’s Premier Soccer League (WPSL), which is regarded as the fourth tier within the U.S. soccer hierarchy. The team comprises a balanced mix of former professional athletes and motivated young players eager to advance in their professional careers. We aim to provide Arlington alumni and other talented individuals with an opportunity to thrive in a professional environment, while also offering young players within the club exposure to semi-professional adult competition at an early stage, thereby preparing them for potential pathways into professional soccer or collegiate opportunities.

Community

The Arlington Soccer Association is committed to making a meaningful impact both on and off the field. We actively encourage our players to engage with the community, as our mission extends beyond the realm of soccer. Each home game of our women’s team in the WPSL is centered around a unique motto and supports a designated social project within our community. A portion of entrance fees at home matches go towards supporting a charitable cause.

Big SISTER program

Each of our semi-professional players is paired with a youth team within the Arlington Soccer Association, serving as a mentor to the players. In this role, they act as a resource for both young athletes and their families, offering valuable advice and guidance on topics such as the college pathway and addressing any soccer-related or non-soccer-related questions that may arise.
